Depends Guard Man

"We have each other. That's all we'll need", an eccentric Alsaurian (Joel Grey) tells Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) as the two proceed on a daring rescue mission. Janeway, who escaped when shock troops apprehended fellow away team members Torres (Roxann Biggs-Dawson) and Tuvok (Tim Russ), has no choice but to depend on him. But how much can she really rely on a dotty old man who insists that she is his long-absent daughter? The crazy-like-a-fox Alsaurian proves more than able, guiding Janeway to the labyrinth that holds the crew members. Now another ruse is needed, one that can't be found in a Starfleet handbook.
